General Updates for Head Office and POS

  • In the Customer Loyalty System, stores can now be grouped so that only customers in a store's group are seen at a store. EG Stores 1,3 and 5 are group A, stores 2 and 4 are group B. Customers established at stores 1,3 and 5 are shown at these stores but not at stores 2 and 4. There are options to allow some stores to see all customers, while restricting other stores. There is a licence fee for this option.

General updates for Head Office

  • Supplier Maintenance now has a purchase discount field which will be the default discount on a Purchase Order entry if the discount option is enabled. There is no charge for this feature.
  • Freestanding Ticket printing now allows for a barcode to be scanned. There is no charge for this feature.
  • Freestanding Ticket printing now allows barcodes to be scanned to print tickets. ie the EAn is translated to an SKU and the ticket is printed. An option has been added that allows tickets to be printed when remote from the computer (similar to other remote scanning options in Stocktake, Distribution entry etc. There is no charge for this feature.
  • New Report - Multiple Promotions Report is available which allows the reporting of lines which are on promotion across multiple promotions. There is no charge for this feature.
  • Promotional Vouchers (either Gift or Bonus vouchers) can be created as a range of vouchers at Head Office. The starting number and the number to create is nominated, along with a value of the vouchers. A promotional description is recorded in the voucher surname field. There is no charge for this feature.
  • Promotions can now be imported into existing Promotions. The output to Excel option on the MultiplePromotions Listing can be used to create an Excel file for single or multiple promotions. Changes can be made (removing lines, changing prices or moving to other promotions), and then the file can be reimported into Minder. There is no charge for this feature.
  • The Bonus Points report in Customer Loyalty now has an option to create vouches in the Minder database for customers with sufficient points. These vouchers can be seen at POS the next day. There is no charge for this feature.
  • The Model Stock system now has a client option to apply minimum order quantity (or minimum pack size if used) to individual sizes rather than the colour as a whole. There is no charge for this feature.
  • If the option to acknowledge Store Distributions is used, then line item details now print on the unacknowledged Transfers report. Previously only line details for transfers printed. There is no charge for this feature.
  • Distribution numbers generated during Store Duistribution Invoice printing can now be 6 digits (previously 4). The last number used can now be set in the retail Inventory Options screen. There is no charge for this feature.

General updates for POS

  • The receipt footer message has been increased from 14 to 28 lines. The layby receipt message has been increased from 14 to 19 lines. There is no charge for this feature.
